Martin Seeger new President and CEO at Lahmeyer

Since 1 November 2016, Martin Seeger is new President of Lahmeyer International and CEO of the Lahmeyer Group

As of 1 November 2016, Dipl.-Ing. Martin Seeger is the new President of Lahmeyer International GmbH and the CEO of the Lahmeyer Group. He succeeds Dr.-Ing. Bernd Kordes who leaves the company at his own request.

Martin Seeger holds a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University. He established the consulting firm SKP Consult in 2014 working on projects with a particular focus on Turkey and on the Gulf region. He previously was Executive Vice President Middle East & Asia of Bilfinger Industrial Services in Munich. At Hochtief, he held several positions, and as Head of International Division, Segment Service Solutions, he was responsible for seven foreign companies. During his professional career, he founded and developed companies in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Turkey, and gained extensive international experience in several other countries.

Dr. Bernd Kordes will leave the company with effect from 31 October 2016, having served as President and CEO for more than 6 years. The Management would like to thank Dr. Bernd Kordes for his leadership which was a period of profitable growth for the Lahmeyer Group resulting in the change of ownership and the successful integration into TRACTEBEL, the engineering business unit of ENGIE.

Martin Seeger embraces the new challenge as the Lahmeyer CEO with confidence: “In light of recent changes in the international energy sector and in respect to the global issue of access to clean water, we will build on and develop the strengths of Lahmeyer in order to remain the main point of contact for our clients, together with our parent company TRACTEBEL.”
