Today the Lahmeyer Group comprises 6 associated companies, 6 international branch offices and subsidiaries as well as more than 50 representatives throughout the world. Lahmeyer International now has a staff of around 570 male and female nationals from more than forty countries.
The Head Office, Lahmeyer International, comprises three divisions: Energy, Hydropower and Water Resources, Transportation. Services for further areas of activity are provided by associated companies and subsidiaries. The Lahmeyer Group is led by highly-experienced managers with backgrounds in technical engineering, economics and the natural sciences.
The engineering and consulting services comprise studies, project concepts, approval and detailed design, tender preparation, supervision of construction, assembly and commissioning, operational consulting, project management and fiduciary project execution. Our wide-ranging expertise, acquired through many years of project experience, and our worldwide contacts guarantee that we remain one step ahead of the competition in the market. This know-how benefits our clients through improved planning reliability and economic efficiency.
We operate in accordance with national and international quality management regulations. The operational principles are thus verifiable and the quality of client relationships is ensured. Our company acquired DIN EN ISO 9001 certification in 1994, 2006 confirmed by TÜV CERT until 2009. Additionally, we are a member of 29 domestic and foreign professional and trade associations, committees and societies.
We are currently executing projects in more than one hundred countries. At the same time our goal is to expand project partnerships into lasting cooperations and to share know-how and other resources with our associates.
The Lahmeyer Group is one of the largest independent German engineering companies, with headquarters in Bad Vilbel near Frankfurt am Main. For over 40 years we have been active in more than 140 countries as consultants, technical experts and project managers in all infrastructure fields.
