Our goals

The realization of large scale technical installations and projects creates change. It secures and improves the provision of utilities as well as the necessities of life for whole regions and countries. It often, however, encroaches on established social structures, as well as on nature and the environment. We aim to find the solutions which fulfil latest technical standards in all infrastructure sectors, are ecologically sound, socio politically meaningful and ensure long-term sustainability.

Our resources

Our most important resource for creating these solutions is our workforce. Their knowledge of current and future developments in technology, their many years of specialist experience, their enthusiasm and their commitment to their clients ensure our good reputation - in many countries throughout the world. Today the Lahmeyer Group has a staff of around 870 men and women from over forty nations, and, besides the Lahmeyer International Head Office, includes 6 subsidiaries in Germany and abroad. Through their many years' professional experience in foreign countries, many of them have acquired knowledge of different cultures and mentalities in addition to the expertise in their specialist fields.

Together with our partners throughout the world and the companies of our group, we are well-prepared to meet these increasingly complex challenges: The Lahmeyer Group combines regional presence with high-level expertise in all infrastructure fields. At the same time we cooperate closely with our business partners and also integrate local know-how.

Since the firm was founded in 1966, LI's staff and management have enjoyed an excellent reputation as highly professional independent consultants. This image stimulates and obliges us to continue improving. Our aim is to offer our clients top quality work for a fair price, and our staff an attractive and assured job with the potential for self-development and further qualification.

• Formulation and proactive development of a Quality Assurance system following EN ISO 9001
• Involvement of the firm's management and staff in a process of continuous improvement;
• Introduction and use of modern equipment and work methods to support the business process;
• Selection of qualified staff whose further development is ensured by regular training and updating;
• Keeping pace with the latest technological developments in our sectors of expertise;
• Monitoring of stakeholders in our target markets, in particular trends in client requirements and selective use of freelance consultants and sub-contractors complying with our quality goals, with selection based on monitoring and evaluation of previous performance.

The principles of business ethics define the ethical basis of our consulting services. They advise us to determine correct business transactions. Business ethics and the adherence to law and regulations shall always govern our actions and conduct.
